Storiesonline is a large adult fiction library where authors post stories that visitors can read for free, with an optional paid Premier subscription that adds downloads, advanced search, a personal library and access to archived and exclusive stories. Our checks found no ads on the homepage or story pages, very fast loading, minimal outside tracking and a layout that works well on phones.

Nifty is a long-running, donation-supported archive of LGBT erotic fiction, organized into simple category folders and lists of story chapters. Pages load very quickly, show no ads, fit well on a phone, and use minimal tracking. The design is plain and text-focused, and a large sticky overlay appears on some pages.

FictionMania is a text-based story archive. In our tests the homepage loaded quickly with no ads, pop-ups or outside trackers, though it is not set up for phone screens and no individual story page could be opened to check. We found no policy pages covering removals, reporting or age checks.

Hyperdreams is an adult story site focused on interactive and customizable stories, with sections for different audiences plus erotic audio. The homepage loads quickly, fits phone screens well, shows no ads on the first screen and uses very little tracking. The contact page mentions membership keys, so some content likely sits behind a paid membership, and we found no published safety or takedown policies.

MCStories is a long-running, free archive of user-submitted adult fiction on a mind-control theme, organized by title, author, category and reader picks. In our checks the homepage loaded very quickly with no ads, pop-ups or tracking cookies, though the layout is not adapted for phone screens. We could not open a story page to check it, and the site has no age confirmation on entry.

SexStories is a large, free library of adult written stories sorted by genre and theme, with an author list, a forum and the option for registered members to submit their own writing. The homepage loads quickly with no ads, pop-ups or outside trackers. It is not designed for phone screens, so reading on mobile may be awkward.

Lush Stories is an adult community built around user-written erotic stories, with forums, groups, a photo gallery and a chat room alongside them. Stories can be read without signing up, the pages are ad-free on first view, they fit phones well and load at a moderate pace, though phone visitors may see a large sticky banner. Registration is free, and a paid upgrade unlocks the site's advanced features.

AFF is a long-running community archive for adult fan fiction and original stories, organized by fandom categories such as anime, books, games, movies and television, with forums and groups. In our tests the homepage loaded quickly, fit phone screens well, showed only light advertising and loaded no outside trackers. A login form appears on the landing page, and the site's terms say an account is needed for full access, so expect to register.

Fet Library is a community-run library of BDSM, kink and fetish fiction, where readers and authors publish, rate and collect stories, and it has been online since 2018. The homepage showed no ads or pop-ups in our checks, works well on phones, and uses very little tracking, though main content loads at a moderate pace. Reading is free, and optional Patreon tiers add perks such as reading themes, saved searches and PDF downloads.

Sexual Stories Club is a free adult story site with written erotic fiction sorted into categories and A–Z lists, plus sections for shorts and games. Pages loaded quickly in testing, the layout works well on phones, and the homepage showed only light advertising with no pop-ups or redirects. CHYOA is an adult interactive story site where readers choose how each story continues, and you can read without creating an account. Pages load quickly, fit well on a phone, and use only light advertising, though a video ad may occasionally load on story pages on mobile. The site loads few outside trackers, but we found no published policies on content removal or reporting abuse.

Fiction.live is an interactive storytelling community where writers run live, reader-voted stories across many genre boards, including an adult board alongside adventure, fantasy, sci-fi and more. Pages load quickly, fit phones well, and show no ads, though a large sticky overlay appears on the phone homepage and a handful of outside tracking scripts load. An optional Super subscription adds cosmetic and social extras, and the site's stated policies say little about safety or age checks.

BDSMCafe is a long-running free site with reader-submitted short stories, novels, audio features and educational articles on kink and safety, all readable without an account. Pages fit a phone screen well, ads stay out of the way on the first screen, and few outside trackers load, though pages are only moderately quick. Its rating is capped because a popup opened when playing media on desktop, and the pages carry many promotional links to other adult sites.
